Account & Data Deletion
You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data. Here's how:
- In the app: Go to Settings → tap "Disconnect all Instagram accounts" to remove your connected accounts and stop all automation.
- Via email: Send a request to support@insta-reply.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and include your Instagram username. We will process your request within 7 business days.
- Revoke permissions: You can also revoke InstaReply's access directly from your Instagram settings under Apps and Websites.
Upon deletion, we will permanently remove your account data, automation rules, analytics history, and any stored Instagram tokens. This action is irreversible.
Subscription cancellation must be done separately through your app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).
Frequently Asked Questions
What type of Instagram account do I need?
InstaReply requires an Instagram Business or Creator account. Personal accounts are not supported due to Meta API restrictions. You also need a Facebook Page connected to your Instagram account.
How do credits work?
Each automated interaction (comment reply + DM) uses 1 credit. Free accounts receive 500 credits per month. Paid plans receive credits based on the billing period. Credits reset on renewal and do not roll over.
Is my Instagram account safe?
Yes. InstaReply uses the official Meta Business API, which is the same technology used by major platforms like Hootsuite and Buffer. Your account credentials are never stored — authentication is handled through Meta's secure OAuth system.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel anytime through your device's app store. Go to Settings → Subscriptions on your iPhone or Google Play Store → Subscriptions on Android. Your access continues until the end of the billing period.
Why aren't my auto-replies working?
Make sure your Instagram Business account is properly connected, your automation rules are active, and you have remaining credits. Also check that the keywords in your rules match the comments you're receiving.
How do I restore my purchases on a new device?
Open InstaReply, go to Settings, and tap "Restore Purchases". Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account used for the original purchase.
